Hearthstone Communities proudly celebrates 125 years of serving children and older adults. Our faith-based charitable organization has served the Northern Illinois since 1886.

Founded by ministers and instilled with Christian values, Hearthstone Communities continues to build upon this solid foundation. Hearthstone Communities divisions include The Village at Hearthstone Communities and The Manor at Hearthstone Communities and Hearthstone Early Learning Center.

Our Mission

To offer hope, healing and purposeful living to older adults and children in the context of Christian communities.

Hearthstone Senior Living Community is home to over 200 seniors. Hearthstone is a continuing care retirement community (CCRC) that features independent and assisted living, Alzheimer's disease and dementia care, skilled nursing care and Medicare Certification. Over 100 children, from six weeks to age 12, are cared for at the Hearthstone Early Learning Center.

At Hearthstone Communities, we encourage our employees to approach their work assignments as much more than a job. We stress the values of Passionate Care, Responsiveness, Extra Mile Service, Integrity and being Family Oriented. We rely on the generosity of volunteers and monetary donations from our community friends to help us fulfill our Mission.
