Celebrating
Grandparents
Sunday,
September 13th
at 2PM
All Grandparents and their families are invited to a
“Celebration of Grandparents”
at
Hearthstone Village, 840 N. Seminary Ave in Woodstock.
Master storyteller, Jim May, will entertain with his
original stories. Afterwards enjoy refreshments and
activities for all ages. Reservations are required and
seating is limited. RSVP to 815-321-4037 by September

5 Wishes
Thursday,
September 24th
at 2PM
Paula Sue Jackson, of The Partners Coalition,
will discuss “5 Wishes.” This program will
address the importance of making and discussing
the decisions involved in end of life care.

People who are
grieving often ask themselves, “How long will my grief
last? How do I deal with overwhelming emotions? How
should I handle the big decisions that need to be made?”
These questions and more will be answered through weekly
discussion topics.

Hearthstone Barnabas Ministry
The Hearthstone Barnabas
Ministry has been developed to provide an opportunity
for alert elderly persons to develop a new relationship
with a volunteer who will visit with the Hearthstone
resident.
