Construction Kick-Off Event
Speakers included Mayor Brian Sager (pictured at left), Terry Egan, CEO of Hearthstone Communiities and Janet Smith. Smith and her husband Stephen welcomed members of her family including her mother, Mary Mueller, for whom the new unit is named along with her father Carl Mueller.

Goal in Sight for Mary & Carl Mueller Rehabilitation Center
Over $400,000 has been raised toward the goal of $500,000 to complete the renovation and expansion of the Mary & Carl Mueller Rehabilitation Center. The Rehabilitation Center will be dedicated in the name of the parents of Janet Smith, former executive of Hearthstone Communities. If you are interested in contributing to this worthwhile community project, checks should be addressed to Hearthstone Communities with Mary & Carl Mueller Rehabilitation Center in the notation line. Members, Donors, Friends and Staff of Hearthstone Communities
gathered on Monday, November 28, 2011, to celebrate the Kick-Off of
construction of the Mary & Carl Mueller Rehabilitation Center at
Hearthstone Communities.
The footings
and pad have been poured for the 3rd Prairie Home duplex on the
Hearthstone Communities campus. Commitments have been received from
the future residents of these units who hope to move into their new
homes in the early Spring of 2012. One additional duplex remains to
be constructed on the site at Christian Way and Route 47. For more

Dr.
Karen Judy has been appointed Medical Director at Hearthstone
Communities. Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Dr. Judy
graduated from the Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern
University where she also completed an internship and residency.
She is an independent physician with privileges at Centegra Health
System. Please welcome Dr. Judy to Hearthstone Communities.
